The Opportunity 
In this entry-level position, the incumbent is responsible for maintaining the Child Protection information database. The role holder will play a key role in entering and managing the database system under the supervision of the Officer – MIS, importing and checking large datasets, regular entry raw data into the Excel spreadsheet, and different platforms as per project needs. S/he is to support the team by regularly providing updated data and help analyze the dataset. The position holder’s responsibility is also to ensure data quality with the support of the team. S/he will be the main source of raw data and should ensure the safety and security of the CP database as per organization policy.

Qualifications and Experience
•   1 year of work experience in a relevant area is desirable, preferably in any NGO setting. 
•   Trained in data management and with at least one year’s experience working with Excel managing databases.
•   Strong IT skills particularly in Access, Word, and Excel.
•   Enthusiasm, motivation, self-confidence, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. 
•   Excellent interpersonal skills with an intermediate level in written and spoken English. 
•   Fluent in written and spoken Bangla, and ability to converse in the Chittagong dialect.
•   Minimum bachelor’s degree preferably in Statistics, Social Science, or any other field. Freshers with good data entry and advanced MS Excel knowledge are also encouraged to apply.
