Officer – Advocacy

The Opportunity 
The Officer-Advocacy position will support the Manager for all the advocacy related activities of Right 2 Grow project. S/he will support to develop advocacy strategic plan of R2G project. S/he will support to implement advocacy strategy and plan through consortium. S/he will assist in capacity development for the members of Civil Society Organizations in Khulna and Barisal division. S/he will provide administrative and logistic support as per project needs. S/he will document best practices related to Food & Nutrition, WASH, Gender Equality & Inclusion, and child health care services at community level. S/he will prepare evidence-based documents for conducting policy advocacy issues.

Qualifications and experience
•   At least 3 years’ experience, preferably in advocacy in nutrition, food security and budget advocacy in local government including advocacy for private sector engagement and gender Inclusion. 
•   Excellent experience of rapport building, networking, liaison and relationship building for advocacy. 
•   Computer skills (MS Office Application and familiar to work in web site)
•   Excellent verbal and written communication in Bangla and English.
•   Reporting skills as per reporting template and considering result framework of the Right to Grow project
•   Good understanding of child rights, Gender and Governance
•   Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Social Sciences /Communication or relevant discipline.
