Save the Children in Bangladesh together with leading youth activists for Climate Change, hosted a day-long capacity training workshop titled “Empowering Young Voices for Climate Change” on 16 August 2023 in Dhaka. This workshop, which is the first of many, was facilitated by some of the top communications and campaign experts in the country in the aim to equip young climate activists in Bangladesh with the necessary communication, campaign and media skills, knowledge, and tools to effectively advocate and campaign for climate action. The workshop is part of Generation Hope - a global flagship campaign of Save the Children which envisions a world that cares for children and their planet by fixing the broken system and accelerating action to address the connected crises of economic inequality and the climate emergency.
