Another health facility in Haitya starts offering 24/7 delivery service

The healthcare scenario of Hatiya, an island Upazila on the southern Bangladesh, is changing fast. Over the last two years or so, six of the upazila’s nine union level health facilities have started offering 24/7 delivery services, the latest being Chanondi Union Health and Family Welfare Centre (UH&FWC) in Subarnachar Upazila in Noakhali.

Save the Children signed MoU with Directorate General of Health Services on April 11, 2018. Country Director Mark Pierce signed on behalf of Save the Children and senior officials from DGHS including Prof Dr. AHM Enayet Hossain, Additional Director General of Health Services (Planning and Development) and Line Director, Non Communicable Diseases Control, DGHS, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) were present on the occasion.

Bangladeshi Delegates Attend UPR Pre-Session at Geneva
