A team from International Development Committee (IDC) of the government of the United Kingdom visited the office of Save the Children International in Bangladesh and met with Suchana senior management team on March 06, 2018.
“If implemented successfully, families including mother and children of Sylhet and Moulavibazar districts will be benefitted from climate resilient aquaculture and their overall nutrition status will be improved” said Syed Arif Azad, Director General of Department of Fisheries (DoF) while giving the introductory remarks as a chief guest during a planning and collaboration workshop between Save the Children led Suchana program and Department of Fisheries.
A national level workshop was organized on August 2, 2017 to share the study findings with different stakeholders including ministries of Bangladesh government, NGOs, UN agencies, donors and academicians to receive their feedback and recommendations.
