Suchana distributes vegetable seeds to boost household consumption

“Suchana: Ending the Cycle of Undernutrition in Bangladesh” recently started distribution of nutritious vegetable seeds among its beneficiary households following the target to reach 77,214 households and 1,563 village model farms by early April 2017.

Suchana Learning Workshop held in Sylhet

“I was reluctant at the beginning to cultivate green leafy vegetables. Our neighbors did not have much success before and I did not have any orientation on vegetable cultivation However, Suchana project staff kept motivating me and I had a good production from vegetable gardening this season” Lily Begum from Bishawanth, Sylhet thus narrated her story in the learning workshop organized in Sylhet on February 2, 2017.

Suchana team visited programme activities in Moulvibazar

A team led by Dr. Fredrick Christopher, Director-Child Poverty of Save the Children in Bangladesh visited Suchana: Ending the Cycle of Undernutrition in Bangladesh activities in Kamalganj, Moulvibazar on November 29, 2016. They met Mohammad Mahmudul Haq, Unpazila Nirbhai Office (UNO) and shared views on integrating nutrition intervention with other development activities.
